Cruisin' Missouri

The team loaded up and headed to Missouri early Friday morning...to watch it rain! The Friday night race was rained out and then Saturday rain continued and washed out that show as well. To make the trip south worth while, they decided to head to Eagle, NE to catch the weekly show.

Eric's lucky drawing abilities shined again as he drew 45 out of 50 and started the heat in 11th(out of 11). The car was right on and Eric raced past the field into second before getting passed by Boston in the final lap and finished up in third, making the redraw. Drawing improved as he drew 5 out of 12 and headed out for the feature in good position. Running in the top 5, Eric got caught behing a spinning 17 car that forced him to take evasive action and spin himself to aviod a pile up. To the back of the pack we go. Eric quickly moved around 6 or 7 cars on the restart until the 3 spun infront of him, again forcing Eric to spin to aviod a crash. The frustration and change in rules because now he was allowed his position back, led the team to pulling in the car instead of have a worse ending. They packed up the car and headed back to Sioux Falls to get some rest before the opener at Husets.

The guys are now out in the shop going over the car and making sure they have things ready for unloading tonight. They seem to have an optomistic outlook and confidence in their car and Eric to do well at Husets this season.
