Valley Speedway is more than a track. I’ve have learned so much at the track.
We have shown up week in and week out for the past five years.
We always stop at Casey’s to get fuel and grab something to eat spending $100 or more in grain valley before we get to the track, even when we don’t race at Valley Speedway we still stop in Grain Valley for fuel and food because we believe in supporting this community .
During my 5 year racing career at Valley Speedway, I have become inspired to help in the Community and even started my own non-profit Foundation.
Valley Speedway has been a great catalyst for my endeavors. With the help of the Valley Speedway Family and Mr. Shrout, we have raised money for over 100 backpacks and 200 winter hats for under-privileged youth.
We helped buy a young girl a wheelchair that her family could not afford.
The race track is a positive place for family’s to spend time together.
My grandma knows where I am every week. I’m at the race track working on making my dream of becoming a Professional Race Car Driver come true, not running the streets getting into trouble.
Without Valley Speedway, young racers like me would not have a place to chase their dreams. They wouldn’t have a place to learn the importance of hard work. They wouldn’t have a place to inspire themselves to help the less fortunate and learn the importance of charity, and supporting the community.
I know, because these are the things that the Valley Speedway Family taught me. Without Valley Speedway I would not be the young man speaking in front of you today.
With all of the positives that Valley Speedway gives back to the youth, the families and the Grain Valley Community really worth shutting it down over a little extra noise, one night a week for three or four hours?
