By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (August 4, 2025) - Certainly no stranger to the four corners of Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, Sans Souci, NSW, Australia’s Brooke Tatnell, who will substitute for fellow Aussie native Ian Madsen while he is sidelined due to injury, has been assigned as the official wheelman of TKS Motorsports, set to take on the best of the best in Knoxville Raceway’s 64th Knoxville Nationals kicking off Wednesday, August 6.

An annual send off, Tatnell and TKS Motorsports launched their Nationals week with the annual Capitani Classic on Sunday, August 3, and although the team out of Mitchellville, Iowa, was unable to qualify for the evening’s main event, laps were made and notes were taken, eager to continue their campaign with Knoxville Nationals qualifying on Wednesday, August 6.

“We’re grateful to have Brooke Tatnell fill in for Ian [Madsen]. Brooke is a talented guy who knows his way around Knoxville Raceway. He has a lot of experience and I’m confident we can learn from each other,” Troy Renfro, owner of the TKS Motorsports, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Webb Family Farms, Landus, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, AL Driveline, Justice Brothers, Serenity Custom Woodworking, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “We’re excited for the Nationals and it’s an event we never want to miss. Ready to see what we can do.”

As noted, Brooke Tatnell certainly knows his way around Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. The Australian owns victories within the 410, as well as 360 ranks, and has qualified for the Knoxville Nationals A-Main on nine occasions; he finished seventh in 2007.

Ian Madsen is sidelined for six to eight weeks. News on his return will come as soon as he is able.
