Lloyd Family Racing enjoys two-win weekend
It was a banner weekend for Lloyd Family Racing as both Patrik Daniel and Abel Lloyd captured feature wins in their respective divisions.
Daniel’s success came Saturday night at 105 Motor Speedway, where his dominance in the Southern States Modified Series continued. After opening the evening with a heat race victory, the Texas native charged from the fifth starting spot in the feature and executed a dramatic last-lap pass on Anthony Meek to notch his sixth win of the season.
Meanwhile, in Kansas, eight-year-old Abel Lloyd added to the family’s success with a strong showing of his own. Battling in the Junior Honda division, Lloyd outpaced Phoenix Eaton to secure his third win of the season—an impressive feat in just his seventh start of the season.
