Brent Marks leaves Dodge City with Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown top ten; Eldora, Lernerville on deck

MYERSTOWN, Pa. (September 23, 2019) - Ultimately cutting his trip home from the West Coast in half, the ‘Myerstown Missile’ Brent Marks continued his 2019 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a doubleheader in the Sunflower State, rejoining the Greatest Show On Dirt at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, September 20 & 21.
Certainly finding consistency in the heart of the Great Plains, Marks ended his two-day campaign with 12th and ninth place finishes, respectively, driving ahead two spots to secure his top-ten result on Saturday. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania-native now owns 20 World of Outlaws top-ten finishes in 2019.
“We always enjoy visiting Dodge City. It’s a beautiful race track and the fans are great. I wish we had the opportunity to go back more often,” Brent Marks explained, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car. “It has been a long trip back toward home, but we’re excited to get there. Only one more weekend separates me from sleeping in my own bed.”
Brent Marks will continue his third, full year on the road with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with a pair of stops at Eldora Speedway and Lernerville Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 27 & 28, respectively. Certainly no stranger to either destination, the pilot of the familiar No. 19 is especially fond of The Big E, as Marks hard-charged from 16th to finish third during the 2019 Kings Royal.
