Top-10 finish in season opener at 411

Tyler Millwood invaded 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon to kick off the 2021 season with the 11th annual Hangover. With heavy precipitation on Friday evening making for rough track conditions on Saturday, Millwood secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the fifth-fastest lap in his time trial group. After breaking into the Top-5 and putting some heat on race-leader Pierce McCarter, Tyler ran into mechanical issues near the midway point of the 50-lapper that forced him pitside on lap 26.
