Tyler Millwood visits Eldora for Million and Dirt Late Model Dream

With the 124-car field split into two groups for a pair of $12,000-to-win preliminary features, Tyler timed in 36th-fastest in his 62-car group before placing eighth in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Millwood faded two spots to finish eighth.

Later Thursday evening for heat races leading up to the Eldora Million, Millwood’s 11th-place finish in his heat relegated him into one of two consolation events for one last shot at the $1,002,022-to-win main event. Starting on the 12th row, Tyler marched through the field 11 spots to finish 13th, missing a transfer spot.

On Friday as the 28th annual Dirt Late Model Dream got underway with a pair of prelims, Tyler’s 10th-to-seven run positioned him on the second row of his B-Main. Needing to place second or better, Millwood logged a 16th-place finish.

He took part in his heat race on Saturday evening but was a scratch from his B-Main.
