BiGFooT Racing Signs Michael Bookout as the Driver for the 2014 Season
The OCRS 2013 Season Awards Banquet was held on November 23, 2013. Michael was recognized for his 9th place finish in the "OCRS Non-Winged Events" and his 11th place finish in the "OCRS 2013 Season Standings".
BiGFooT Racing announces that it has resigned Michael Bookout as it's driver for the 2014 season. Based on his performance, his desire and passion for racing, and his support of the fans and service to the community, BiGFooT Racing is pleased to have Michael Bookout continuing to pilot the sprint car.
BiGFooT Racing wishes to THANK Michael for representing the OCRS at the Saint Francis Childrens Hospital, for meeting with Ethan H. (helping to bring Christmas to a special needs youngster), for passing out American flags to the veterans and Frisbees to the fans at Salina Highbanks Speedway, and for donating one night of his winnings to a fellow OCRS driver who was a tornado victim.
Michael 's performance was solid for his sophomore season. He improved in the season standings, he demonstrated his driving skills in non-winged events, he finished strong (4th in an "A" Feature and a "Hard Charger" award) in the final weekend of racing and he competed in an ASCS event beating out half the cars that showed up to race.
