Aaron Reutzel wins ASCS Gulf South Nolan Wren Memorial Race
Aaron Reutzel wins ASCS Gulf South Nolan Wren Memorial March 31st. It was a night filled with emotion for Aaron Reutzel. For years, the Wren family has supported Aaron’s racing, with Ralph and Terri Wren lending sponsorship support and acting as car owners during Aaron’s successful (and still ongoing) micro sprint career. With the inaugural Nolan Wren memorial on tap, Reutzel had a lot on the line, as he was looking to pickup the win in the first running of a race in the Wren families honor. And win he did. Taking his #87 XXX chassis from the 6th starting spot, Reutzel took the lead on lap 20 and then held off Tony Bruce Jr for a three car length victory over the ASCS Gulf South Region at Gator Motorplex in Willis, TX on Saturday night. Congratulations Aaron, Shelbey, Kenny, Ralph & Terri on winning a big race that means more than just a payday.
