Dills Returning to Cottage Grove Speedway This Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (July 16, 2014) – Patrick Dills is rejuvenated following a weekend off to spend time with his family.

Dills will return to Northwest Extreme Sprints competition this Saturday at Cottage Grove Speedway, where he ranks fifth in the championship standings – only 17 points out of third place.

“I’m looking forward to getting back out there and taking what we learned racing against the 360s,” he said. “I’m continuing to gain confidence as well.”

Two weeks ago Dills drove his way into an ASCS Northwest Region main event against cars with approximately 200 more horsepower. Now that he will be on the same playing field this Saturday, Dills is aiming for another top five.

“We’ve been consistent with top-10 finishes,” he said. “The goal of completing all the laps remains up there and I’d like to keep the top-10 streak alive, but it’d be awesome to add another top five.”

Dills has earned a top 10 in each of the six Northwest Extreme Sprint races at the quarter-mile oval this season.
