Two Sisters Shine On the Track
MOULTON, IA -- Katlynn and Kendra Leer have been racing into victory lane ever since they got behind the wheel of a car.
Kendra is 11 and races karts, 13 year old Katlynn races midget cars.
Together the girls race up to 45 times a year across the Midwest and even venture as far as California and Las Vegas for laps around the track.
When I asked them how many races they've won, they put the conservative estimate at about 50.
Their mother and father are behind them all the way and it really is a family effort shuttling them to and from different races.
Their father Joe used to race and the two daughters quickly picked up a love for the sport.
