Started 17th and Finished 9th at the Knoxville Season Opener
We are building our 410 program and currently we have one 410 engine. On practice night we had some issues with the engine that required a trip to the engine builder. So, making the best of our kick off to our 410 Season and pick up as many points as possible we dropped the 360 engine in the #17A sprinter & headed to Knoxville Raceway to run with the 410 division.
There were so many competitors there, they split qualifying into 2 groups. Jack qualified 20th in the first group. That put Jack starting 10th in the heat race and he finished 9th.
Jack started 17th in the 12 lap B Main. Passing a total of 8 cars (almost a car a lap) Jack finished 9th.
We should have our 410 engine back this week hopefully in time for the 2nd week of competition.
