2015 FCC Pro Mazda CHAMPION!
It has just been confirmed by the Formula Car Challenge that I have won the 2015 Pro Mazda Championship. I started off the year not knowing exactly what to expect. Coming out of go karts, I knew that my competition would be strong, after seeing Hunter Pickett and Jayden Conwright at the track. Come the first race weekend I saw myself on pole, and thats when i told myself that I could win the championship. After that first race I had my ups and my downs, ranging from sweeping weekends to getting DNF's. It was all in all a huge learning experience for me, and I feel really happy with where I ended versus started my season. Without the overwhelming support of my team, I wouldn't be typing a Championship writeup. They were the real reason I finished at the top of the charts. Countless hours spent of gearbox gremlins, brake issues, pedal adjustment, shifting timing, America's Tire trips and more all contributed to the ultimate win, and it was the guys in the shop who made it happen. My team: Brian (Kecker) Keck, Brent (ADV) Katusha, Neil (Mac Dreezy) Alberico, Rick (Ricksiculous) Cameron, Mom, Dad, Beatrice, and all of those who have supported me, THANK YOU!
Now What?
-The training and racing don't stop here, I have a few options to consider over the next few months that will determine where I end up pursuing my career. I will keep everyone posted on my ultimate decision and release schedule dates accordingly. I wish you all the best this Holiday season, cheers!
