“It was a busy weekend for the team, but overall we very happy with our performances. Everyone knows that Deer Creek Speedway is one of my favorite tracks, and we always have confidence when we go there. Picking up the $10,000 win there on Saturday was a nice added boost for our bank account and our team’s confidence as we prepare for a busy upcoming schedule,” Sanders said. “On Monday night we took the Late Model to Husets. Again, there was a really stacked field of racers there, and no more than we’ve raced the Late Model this year I was pleased with a sixth-place finish.”

Behind the wheel of his Arkansas Myriad (ARMI) No. 20 Modified, Rodney Sanders lifted the lid on his Memorial Day weekend on Friday evening at Iowa’s Rapid Speedway in the 13th annual Rapid Rumble. On Saturday afternoon at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) for the USMTS Spring Challenge, Sanders passed three cars in his heat race to pick up the win.
