On Friday, Rodney’s second-place finish in his heat race positioned him on the third row for the prelim. With $5,000 on the line, Sanders clawed forward one spot to register a fourth-place finish.
For Saturday’s finale, Sanders edged his way into the $12,000-to-win Featherlite Fall Jamboree A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Rodney passed 11 cars in the 50-lapper to cross the line in third. He trailed Jim Chisholm and Brandon Davis to the checkers with Lucas Schott and Dustin Sorensen completing the Top-5 finishers.
Rodney is currently fifth in the latest USMTS point standings.
