Get to know Aaron Schuck a little better with 10 Questions we recently threw his way. See Below.
What has been your favorite race track, and why?
To be honest, I would have to say Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie Wisconsin. That place really keeps you humble… it’s so quick and tricky and we have been so close there a few times, but can never get over that hurdle. It keeps you hungry.
If you could redo one race, which one would it be?
Sycamore Speedway July of 2016. We led 19 of 20 laps, and had a yellow come out coming out of 2 on the white flag lap. I truly feel like I had put down my best lap when we went back to green, but the best I had that night just want good enough to win it.
What do you think your competitors think of you and your driving style?
I’d like to think others would consider me as clean and respectful. I am out there to win, just as much as the next guy, I know what this stuff costs to put back together when you wreck. So long story short, show me the respect and I will show it right back.
If you could run one type of race car what would it be?
I would love to run in the USAC Silver Crown series. There is such history in that series and they are just bad ass cars.
When you’re not driving race cars, what are you doing?
I am an avid autograph collector, which I really took a liking to when I was young and meeting some of my heroes at the race track. Not it has spread into different sports figures etc. Most recently I have been working on completing the entire Cubs World Series roster on the Official World Series Baseballs.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Rachel McAdams.
Other than racing, what is your favorite sport?
Baseball has always been a love of mine. I played it throughout high school until I got really involved in music.
Do you have a favorite Band?
Music is another big love of mine, as I spent a lot of my time before getting into racing, playing drums in bands so my taste in music is all over the place. Recently it has been a lot of Kings of Leon.
Do you have any pre race rituals?
I used to be very superstitious and would get very nervous, but over time it has gotten a lot less tense so to speak. Really just like to make sure we are as prepared as we can be before we hit the track.
If you are going to binge watch on Netflix. What are you watching?
I think the easiest show to binge on Netflix has got to be Shameless. Really have to have a crude sense of humor, but I cannot get enough of it!
