Tyler Iverson is The 2015 Shane Thome Memorial Race Champion
Tyler entered the first Shane Thome Memorial Modified Special Tuesday night July 14th along with 22 other drivers. Tyler was among some heavy-hitters including Jessie Sobbing, Dylan Smith, Andy Wilkinson, Jared Hoefelman, Shane Hiatt, Jacob Anson, Anthoney Roth, Mike Densberger and many more. Over 100 cars total participated in the event making the track a smooth dry-slick surface by the time the modifieds finished the show. After winning his heat, Tyler drew front row outside for the A Feature.
Tyler got to the lead over pole sitter Jacob Anson on lap one and although there were several yellows during the race to bunch the field, he went on to lead every lap of the 25 lap feature event. The event paid $2000 to win and was witnessed by a packed grandstand. Final results can be seen on DirtDrivers.com.
