Runner-up finish in Butterball Woolridge Memorial

Instead of enjoying a weekend off with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Ricky Weiss was back in action on Friday night at Richmond Raceway (Richmond, Ky.) for the Ultimate Heart of America Series-sanctioned Butterball Woolridge Memorial. Drawing 36 cars for the two-day event, Weiss picked up a $1,059 payday for winning his heat, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the Saturday night’s $20,059-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 59-lap affair, Ricky notched a runner-up finish behind Mike Marlar with Zack Dohm, Ross Bailes, and Scott James rounding out the Top-5. (Michael Moats photo)
