Seventh-place finish in Kyle Larson Late Model Challenge at Volunteer
Fresh off a win at Bristol, Ricky Weiss traveled to the high banks of Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the the second running of the Kyle Larson Late Model Challenge.
In a field of 44 Late Models, Weiss qualified fifth-quickest in his group before finishing third in his heat race. Rolling off from the fifth-row for the $20,000-to-win feature, Weiss gained two positions in the caution-free affair to secure a seventh-place finish.
