Pospisil crowned Malvern Bank and Hoker Truck Series' champion

Taking part in the Malvern Bank Series season finale, Tad Pospisil traveled to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) on Friday night for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Drawing 15 cars, Pospisil followed up the fourth fastest time in qualifying with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Charlie McKenna. Starting the main event in fifth, Tad snuck past race-leader Cory Dumpert early in the feature but a caution on the same lap negated his pass for the lead. With a late-race caution setting up a heated battle for the top spot, Pospisil came up short to place second behind Dumpert with Kyle Berck, Charlie McKenna, and Jesse Sobbing trailing them to the checkers. With his second-place finish on Friday, Tad captured the Malvern Bank Series point’s title.

On Saturday evening at Randolph County Raceway (Moberly, Mo.) to wrap up the Hoker Trucking Series season, Pospisil topped the speed charts in time trials but Mother Nature made an appearance before the start of the feature, wiping out the finale. With no points awarded for the evening, Tad Pospisil was crowned the Hoker Trucking Series point’s champion.
