Pospisil earns $6,000 in Ben Nothdurft Memorial at Huset's Speedway
After failing to make the Lucas Dirt show at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) on Tuesday, Tad Pospisil joined the Tri-State Series on Wednesday afternoon for the Ben Nothdurft Memorial at Husets Speedway (Brandon, S.D.).
Putting down the fastest lap in his qualifying group, Pospisil won his heat race from the pole which earned him a third-row starting spot for the 30-lap main event. Tad fought off Blair Nothdurft for the $6,000 payday and secured his first win of the season.
Scheduled to compete with the Malvern Bank West Series the following two nights, Pospisil finished third in a heat race on Thursday and drove to a fourth-place finish in Friday's $6,053-to-win feature.
On the final day of the Silver Dollar Nationals, Tad tried his luck against the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and came up just short of making the $75,000-to-win finale.
