Wenger back on top at FCR; sixth-place finish in Hell Tour stop at FALS

On Friday afternoon McKay Wenger made the short trip to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) for the regular night of racing. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, McKay cruised to his fourth win of the season in the feature. The following night at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) as the DIRTcar Summer Nationals invaded for the fifth round of the Hell Tour, Wenger timed in fourth fastest in his group before placing third in his heat race. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, McKay clawed forward six spots in the 50-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.
