Wenger dominates at Farmer City, pockets $1,000

Friday night found McKay Wenger in action at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) aboard his Nutrien Ago Solutions No. 42 Late Model.

Dominating from the minute he unloaded, Wenger followed up the fastest lap in time trials with a heat race win and a flag-to-flag victory in the feature. He pocketed a $1,000 payday ahead of Kevin Weaver, Logan Moody, Jason Wagner, Ron Donaldson.

On Saturday, Wenger traveled to Shadyhill Speedway (Medaryville, Ind.) to compete with the MARS Racing Series. With a second-place finish in his heat positioning him on the second row for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, McKay gained one spot in the 40-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He followed Jason Feger and Ryan Unzicker across the line with Rich Dawson and Tristan Chamberlain rounding out the Top-5.
