Garrett Alberson marches to third-place finish at FALS

With the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) doubleheader weekend rained out, Garrett Alberson traveled to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) on Saturday for the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned FALS Super Nationals. In a field of 29 cars, Garrett secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the fifth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Advancing into the Top-5, Alberson marched forward 12 spots in the 50-lapper to register a third-place finish. He followed Bobby Pierce and McKay Wenger across the line with Ryan Unzicker and Tanner English rounding out the Top-5. (Josh James Artwork)
