Diercks attends Fall Bash at Cedar County
Taking part in the three-day Darkside Fall Bash, Spencer Diercks traveled to Cedar County Speedway (Tipton, Iowa) on Thursday to compete in the Super Late Model and Modified ranks. Drawing 19 Late Models, Spencer passed four cars in his heat to finish third. Losing two spots in the 28-lap feature, Diercks logged seventh-place finish.
In his Modified, Diercks improved six spots from the 19th-starting position in the feature to place 13th.
With a fourth-to-first run in his heat race placing him third on the starting grid for the Modified feature on Friday, Spencer retired early with five circuits remaining.
Only competing in his Modified again on Saturday, Spencer edged his way into the finale with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. Improving three spots in the 50-lap affair, Diercks logged an 11th-place outing.
