Joe Godsey attends Texas Dirt Nationals

Joe Godsey and Roth Motorsports made the trek to Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth, Texas) on Friday afternoon as the inaugural Texas Dirt Nationals got underway with a $10,000-to-win preliminary feature. With 33 Late Models entered, Godsey followed up the fourth fastest time in his group with the fifth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. On Saturday, Joe’s fifth-place finish in his heat race positioned him 19th on the starting grid for the $50,000-to-win finale. With only 30 laps to gain some ground, Godsey recorded a 17th-place finish.
