Whittall continues Port Royal hot streak; Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek agenda could include entire slate

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 24, 2024) - Although Justin Whittall’s complete Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek slate is still undetermined, planning to contend in most, if not all of the annual marquee, the New Jersey native’s momentum heading into the ten-race agenda will be hearty, capping his recent weekend of competition with a top-five score at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, June 22.
Whittall, who earned his first victory of 2024 just one weekend prior at Port Royal Speedway, finished fourth in his most recent visit to the Juniata County “Speed Palace,” commencing main event action from the exact same position. In fact, it was a great evening on the whole for JW Motorsports, opening the $22,000-to-win Jim Kline Tribute with the fifth-fastest qualifying time of 28 entries, racing on to win his respective heat race.
Perfect timing, the event utilized a Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek format.
“Feels good to keep this rhythm going. Things are starting to turn for the better, and no better time to do so than right before Speedweek,” Whittall, ace of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, said. “Really happy for this team. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to keep this team in check and I’m proud to be connected with so many great people. Our plan is to be at all of Speedweek, but we’re still balancing some things out. We’ll see soon enough.”

First through fifth in the final point standings will collect $6,000, $3,000, $2,700, $2,500, and $2,200 respectively.
