Whittall impressive in Port Royal’s Tuscarora 50

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (September 9, 2024) - Justin Whittall’s weekend at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” was one for the stat book, not only attaining three consecutive top-tens in the three-day Tuscarora 50 blockbuster, but the young man out of Vincentown, New Jersey, highlighted all appearances with a runner-up on Friday, September 6 - a first-ever podium appearance with the nationally touring High Limit Racing organization.

Whittall, driver of his own JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, started third on the Night Before The Tuscarora 50 starting grid, launching the evening’s preliminary card with the fourth-fastest time in his respective group followed by a heat race victory.

In addition, Whittall opened Tuscarora 50 weekend with a tenth-place outcome on Thursday, September 5, all of which concluding with a fifth-place run in Saturday’s 50-lap, $57,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 finale. With all results considered, Whittall now owns 22 top-tens on the season, 13 of which accomplished within the top-five including one victory at the Speed Palace.

“Just an incredible weekend. It’s really turning into a dream season for us and I couldn’t be more proud,” Whittall said. “To everyone who kept believing in us when things were down, these runs are for you. We now know our potential and it’s exciting. Things seem to flow a lot easier when you’re having fun, and we’re certainly having fun.”
