Vic Hill Begins 2020 Season at East Bay Raceway Park

On Monday evening Vic Hill made the trek to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) to kick off the 2020 season with the 44th annual Wrisco Winternationals. In a stout field of 62 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Hill laid down the 19th fastest lap in his time trial group before placing 7th in his heat. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Vic logged a 20th place outing.

The following night for another $5,000-to-win A-Main, Vic came two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Hill posted a 6th place outing. (Heath Lawson photo)

For the third round of the Wrisco Winternationals on Wednesday evening, Hill slipped back to an 11th place outing in his heat race sending him into the B-Main. Slated to start near the tail, Vic was a scratch from the event to prepare for the remainder of the week.

On Saturday afternoon Vic returned to action for the final round of the 44th annual Wrisco Winternationals. After getting spun around in his 10-lap heat race, Hill elected to sit out his 12-lap consolation event.
