Thram races into both World of Outlaws features at I-55

Christopher Thram ventured to Missouri over the weekend to take on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55.

During Friday’s Night Before the Ironman, Thram advanced to the feature with a fourth-place finish in his heat and went on to record a 22nd-place finish in the A-Main.

He returned on Saturday for the $25,000-to-win Ironman 55, where he claimed the final transfer spot in his heat race. Thram once again crossed the line 22nd in the main event.

Wrapping up his weekend, Thram traveled to Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway on Sunday for the Avanti Windows & Doors Capitani Classic presented by Great Southern Bank. Serving as the final tune-up before the Knoxville Nationals, Thram finished eighth in his heat before coming home 14th in the B-Main, ending his night short of a transfer.
