Will Roland
Top-10 finish with Southern All Stars at Senoia
Friday night found Will Roland in action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) to kick off a doubleheader weekend with the Southern All Star Series. Drawing 24 cars, Roland’s seventh-fastest qualifying effort in his group pinned him 13th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Will improved five spots into the 25-lap affair to register an eighth-place finish.
For the Hence and Reba Pollard Memorial on Saturday, Will missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Coming in second behind Justin Shipley, Roland locked into the 18th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win finale. He was an early retiree from the 52-lapper while being credited with a 23rd-place outing.
