The Arkansas racer claimed a pair of feature wins at Batesville Motor Speedway during the Modified portion of the 28th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 weekend.

“We had a great car every time that we hit the track. We won on Thursday and Friday and come up second on Saturday after a great race with Brandon [Smith],” Taylor said. “It’s been an up and down year for us, hopefully were getting some momentum going.”

Thursday night saw Jeff Taylor return to action at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) to kick off the Topless 100 weekend. After topping the 31-car field in time trials, Taylor secured his spot into the opening night feature with an 8-lap heat race victory. Outrunning Ashton Wilkey, Jeff soared to his fourth win of the season over Wilkey, Tyler Stevens, Wayne Brooks, and Clay Norris.

The following night, Jeff came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth-place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Picking up a 12-lap consolation victory, Taylor locked his spot into the main event. Coming from the back of the pack, Taylor wheeled to his second win in as many nights over Ashton Wilkey, Wayne Brooks, Brint Hartwick, and Brandon Smith. The victory marked his fifth of the season.

For the finale on Saturday evening, Taylor scored a runner-up finish in the feature, trailing Brandon Smith across the line with Mike Bell, Wayne Brooks, and Travis Mosley completing the Top-5 finishers.
