Taylor wheeled the Wendell Wallace-owned No. 6m Shaw Race Cars IMCA Modified to the win at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Ark.
“Any win is special but to win here at Batesville Motor Speedway means that much more,” Taylor commented. “I love being able to race in front of our hometown fans. It feels great to win two weeks in a row. I hope we can carry this momentum into Wisconsin this weekend.”
In a field of 21 Modifieds, picking up a heat race victory over John Waugh, Taylor locked his spot into the main event. Parking the MTR Fencing Company entry in victory lane, Jeff topped Mark Norris, Clay Norris, Ashton Wilkey, and John Waugh at the line to secure the victory.
The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) aboard the Cameron Rank-owned No. 44T Modified, Jeff posted a fourth place finish in his heat, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Passing six cars in the 20-lap affair, Taylor notched a runner-up finish behind Ashton Wilkey. Sawyer Crigler, Matt Barry, and Carl Murphy rounded out the Top-5
