Henderson debuts Dyer Motorsports ride at Magnolia
On Friday evening, Matt Henderson made his debut in the Dyer Motorsports No. 20 Late Model at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the $10,000-to-win Crate Racin' USA event.
With 45 Late Models in the pit area on Friday, Henderson qualified third-quickest in his group before losing one spot in his heat race to finish fourth.
With the main event on Saturday, Henderson charged forward six positions from his 14th-place starting spot before experiencing steering issues that sent him into the turn one wall, ending his night early. He was scored 22nd.
