Bryant Doubles Up and Point Champions Crowned
*Friday night would see the end of the 2024 schedule with a full slate featuring our 5 weekly classes and the Revival Late Model Series. With an ideal night for racing and another great racing surface delivered by Ryan Whitworth, it was show time!
*The Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks would see Dylan Allen and Dallas Joyce grab the heat race wins and set up the field for their A Feature. The feature would see Allen and Joyce on the front row as they came to the green flag. This is where Joyce would put the exclamation point on his season as he has dominated this class all season. The night would see Joyce grab the feature win and the season points championship followed by Dylan Allen, Derrek Wilson, Rusty Etherton and hard charger Ashley Mueller.
*The Ray's Metal Depot USRA B Modifieds would be next in the lineup. Theat race winners would be Andy Bryant and Tyler Kidwell. The front row for the feature would see Bryant and last week's winner Jackson McGowen bring them to the green. Bryant would charge to the front with the battle going on behind your leader. Tyler Kidwell would work his way up to second followed by Matt Kay, Dexton Daniels and Don McIntosh rounding out the top 5. This would be Bryant's 3rd win and would go on to double up picking up the Revival Series Late Model Feature. The points championship would go to Tyler Kidwell.
*The Wilson Automotive Mini Stocks and Tuners would see Trent Wilson pick up the heat race win. The feature would see Wilson grab his 3rd win of the season followed by Jesse Stair, Larry Trestor, Austin Robertson and Travis Bockhover complete the top 5. The championship would go to Larry Trester who in victory lane was happy about his fist championship. On a side note, Austin Robertson had a career best night for him as he finished a strong 4th place finish. For the Humboldt regulars we all know how hard he has worked, and it all paid off Friday.
*The Extrusions Inc Midwest Modifieds would see Dylan Daniels, Brad Jarman and Casey Jesseph grabbing heat race wins. The feature would have Blake Sutton and Brad Jarman bring the field to the green flag. Sutton would hold off a hard charging Clint Drake and Jimmy Davis would move up 5 spots to finish 3rd rounding out the top 5 would be Tyler Davis and Casey Jesseph. The points title would go to Trevor Holman who finished 37 points ahead of Dylan Daniels.
*The Armi Contractors USRA Modifieds would close out the show and it was a good one. Coming into the night, 2 points separated Dan Daniels and Paden Phillips. The heat race wins would go to Brendon Gemmill and Houston Johnson. The feature would see Gemmill and Johnson on the front row, with Daniels in row 2 and Phillips out back. The race would see Johnson and Gemmill battling it out for the top spot swapping positions throughout the feature. Meanwhile Phillips was on a mission as he and Daniels would meet up and the battle for the championship was on. As the feature came to a close Gemmill would hold off Houston Johnson to pick up the Feature win, behind those 2 would see Paden Phillip, Cody Brill and Dan Daniels for the top 5. This would be back-to-back championships for Phillips and in the Pete's Convenience Store's victory lane talked about the tough competition and how much it meant to him, his family and sponsors.
