FARRELL DOMINATES AUTO VALUE PARTS STORES 50

Wisconsin Dells WI-Ryan Farrell of Big Bend, WI dominated the second of the twin Super Late Model features with a win in the Auto Value Parts Stores 50 Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park. Brent Edmunds and Ryan Farrell would bring the beautiful field of Super Lates to the line for their second 50 lap feature of the night. From the drop of the green it was evident the 80 of Farrell was all business as he jumped out to a big lead while the field sorted out behind him. The first car to challenge for the lead would be Max Kahler who came into this final feature with a 33 point lead over Braden Berge. With the help of a caution and an appearance from the Five Star Concrete and Excavating lane choice cone Kahler would Challenge Farrell for the lead. The two would battle in both lanes for many laps but Farrell was equal to the task as even Kahler could not get the nose ahead. The next and final challenger for the top spot would be Casey Johnson from the 9th starting spot. Initially the lead of Farrell was over 3 seconds but through sheer will it seems Johnson was able to close the gap and get to the rear bumper of the 80. It was a battle however that would not manifest as the 5 of Johnson used up the car in the chase and was not ultimately able to get side by side with Farrell who powered his way to a hard fought Auto Value Parts Stores feature win. Johnson would follow in second followed by Braden Berge, Corey Jankowski, and Max Kahler. Kahler would be crowned the 2023 Weekly Super Late Model Champion over Braden Berge by 31 points. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash and Season Dash Championship was won by Kahler as well as The Quality FreightRate Hard Charger award. John Beale was Fast Qualifier with a lap of 13.460. the heat races were won by Jesse Bernhagen and Corey Jankowski. Many of these drivers will return next week 8/12/23 for The Alive for 5 Badger State 125 Presented by Lube USA.
