MATT URBAN EARNS FIRST UMA PRO LATE MODEL WIN
Wisconsin Dells WI-Matt Urban from Milwaukee, WI utilized the high side to win his first ever career Pro Late Model feature win on Lyle Nabbefeldt Tribute Night. Noah Eisenhower and Matt Urban brought a stacked 20 car field to the green for 35 laps of feature racing. Immediately the Pro Late Models showcased the power of the class as they went side by side 6 rows deep for the first 10 laps. As the field sorted out behind them the top two broke away side by side in an awesome display of precision and respect. Urban would finally break away with 15 laps to go. As the battle for the top 5 would intensify the laps would continue to fade away. Eisenhower would make one final push but it wasn’t enough as Urban cruised to the finish. Eisenhower brought home a strong second place finish and was followed to the line by Mahlon Borntreger, Mike Lichtfeld, and Brady Bill. Mike Lichtfeld had fast time with a 14.048. The Diamond Wheels Fast Dash was won by Mahlon Borntreger and the heat races were won by Cole Howard and Colton Morgan. The Pro Late Models return to action June 10th at Dells Raceway Park.
