Ronny Adams Memorial brings Theiss to Boothill

Taking part in the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) opening weekend, Austin Theiss traveled to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday night for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. In a field of 34 cars, Austin faded two spots in his heat race to register an eighth-place finish. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Theiss logged an eighth-place outing.

On Saturday afternoon for the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Theiss came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Locking the Top 3 into the finale, Austin fell short with a seventh-place finish. (Turn 3 Images | Millie Tanner photo)
