Kyle Beard 13th in Comp Cams visit to Old No. 1 Speedway
Friday afternoon saw Kyle Beard invade Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.) for the $5,000-to-win Cow Patty event sanctioned by the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
Following the fourth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Beard picked up a heat race victory which set him up for a second-row starting position in the 40-lap main event. For the $5,000-to-win feature, Beard battled his way to the lead on lap 12 before a flat tire forced him pitside. After being sent to the tail, Kyle made his way back up to 13th when the checkers flew.
