Beckendorf, Larson, Looft, Hollatz and Myott Score Wins During EMS Appreciation Night at Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Aug. 20, 2016) – More than 75 cars competed at Jackson Motorplex on Saturday during EMS Appreciation Night.

Brandon Beckendorf, Dustin Larson and Matthew Looft returned to the Winner’s Circle with Chanse Hollatz and A.J. Myott both registering their first feature win of the season at the half-mile oval.

Beckendorf charged from ninth to capture his fifth Wilmont Oil IMCA a-mods triumph of the season. Dwain Hanson placed second with Cole Hall maneuvering from 10th to third place, points leader Don Gerritsen Jr. finishing fourth and Denny Anderson rounding out the top five.

Larson scored his seventh After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars victory and his third in a row. Championship leader Luke Sathoff recorded a runner-up result with Jim Larson third, Levi Feltman fourth and Tom Hagedorn fifth.

Looft pocketed his fourth Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods win of the year after starting 12th. Dustin Wiederhoeft advanced from 10th to second place and points leader Jason Andrews from 11th to third. Danny Myrvold placed fourth and Justin Luinenburg charged from 15th to fifth.

Hollatz held off Luinenburg, who remains on top of the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks championship standings, for his first trip to Victory Lane. Chad Lonneman powered from 11th to third place with Austin Jahnz fourth and Chad Krug fifth.

Myott outlasted Jay Devries to garner the Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts victory. Points leader Nate Coopman ended third, Hunter Benson fourth and Ryan Westman fifth.

Jackson Motorplex will host a doubleheader next weekend with the action beginning on Friday featuring Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars, Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars and Heartland Racing Association Non-Wing Sprint Cars before Saturday’s championship night showcasing Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars.
