Smith, Kirchoff and George Garner Rebel Run Victories at Billings Motorsports Park
Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 3, 2016) – Dave Smith, Eddie Kirchoff and Jason George wrapped up the Rebel Run Weekend featuring the Warriors Rendezvous by winning the feature events on Saturday at Billings Motorsports Park, where drivers from Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Oregon and two Canadian provinces competed.
Smith maneuvered from fifth to claim the $1,000-to-win late models main event. Terry Carter finished in the runner-up position with Jim Harris advancing from ninth to third place, Dan Henrikson from 11th to fourth and Mike Stadel from 21st to fifth.
Kirchoff captured his second straight $1,000-to-win victory on a Saturday at Billings Motorsports Park, where he rallied from fourth to garner the modifieds triumph. Hank Berry placed second with Dustin Cady third, Zach Olson fourth and Doug Martin fifth.
George swept the weekend in the super stocks class. Jordan Tocci powered from eighth to second place with Ed Berger earning a third-place result, Jeremy Meirhofer fourth and Vance Lorenz fifth.
Meirhofer was the only driver to compete in all three classes on Saturday. He also placed 11th in the late model main event and ninth in the modifieds feature.
Billings Motorsports Park will return to action next Saturday when the track will host late models, midwest modifieds and street stocks.
