Dunn, Craver, George and Meirhofer Record Victories at BMP Speedway
Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 23, 2017) – Chris Dunn scored his first feature victory of the season at BMP Speedway on Saturday night when Cory Craver, Jason George and Jeremy Meirhofer returned to Victory Lane at the 3/8-mile oval.
Dunn maneuvered from sixth to become the fifth different WISSOTA late models winner this season. Rayce McCord held off three-time winner Kelly Hample for the runner-up position. Mike McCord placed fourth and Jim Harris ended fifth.
Dan Henrikson and Harris were the heat race winners.
Craver produced his third consecutive WISSOTA street stocks triumph and his track-best sixth victory this season. Robert Petroff advanced from sixth to second place with Dwayne Fowler third, Devin Kenaston fourth and Grant Gary fifth.
Fowler, Kenaston and Craver each garnered a heat race win.
George captured his second straight WISSOTA super stocks victory. Taylor Johnson, Meirhofer, Jace Lorenz and Vance Lorenz, who was the lone heat race winner, rounded out the top five, respectively.
Meirhofer became the third different driver to earn wins in multiple classes this season at BMP Speedway when he picked up his first IMCA modifieds triumph. Joey Price charged from eighth to second place with Kenny Baumann finishing third, Tracy Wittenberg fourth and Travis Davis fifth.
Meirhofer also netted a heat race victory.
