Lawrence Racing Test N Tune Update.

Lawrence Racing Test N Tune Update.
It was a blustery April day on Saturday April 8th, 2017, but that didn’t deter Dillion Lawrence and Ed Henderson of Lawrence Racing from “getting dirty”.
The driver’s meeting at high noon was an uneventful reminder to play nice and quickly following, the drivers were on to packing the track.
In the newly stickered IMCA Monte Carlo with tire pressures checked, Ed Henderson headed out to the track. After a few laps, he knew this racing season was going to be different than the last. There’s a lot more power behind this one, he said with a grin…
When asked, how did it feel out there? He responded "Tire pressures felt all wrong, but maybe that’s because my pit crew is my wife today…” Upon checking, the tire pressure gauge was bad. (Thanks Kyle Young for letting us borrow your digital.) After correcting that, the car was amazing.
Also sporting an new IMCA Monte Carlo in Smurf turf blue, Dillion Lawrence also hit the track for Test N Tune. His first lap out, he dropped a left rear shock “I could feel something dragging.” he said. The second time he went out, he was black flagged for losing his trunk lid. Just getting the kinks out….
And once those kinks were out, these two were movin’. Looks like these teammates are headed for an exciting season. With Dillion’s veteran driving skills and Ed’s meticulous engineering, watch out for the Lawrence Racing Team this season at Millard County Raceway and other regional tracks. Check the "Schedule" tab to see where we will be racing next!
