Austin Holcombe 10th in Firecracker Faceoff finale at I-55
Austin Holcombe returned to the DIRTcar Summit Modified Nationanls on Thursday afternoon at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa) after Wednesday's opener was rained out.
Holcombe opened up his extended weekend with a ninth-place finish on Thursday before setting his sights on the two-day show at I-55 Federated Raceway Park (Pevely, Mo.) on Friday and Saturday. Austin finished 15th in the first A-Main of the weekend and wrapped it up with a 10th-place outing in the finale.
Holcombe did not make it to Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Sunday and decided to head back to North Carolina.
