Robinson sidelined by dirt clod in Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora

To conclude his sophomore season on tour with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Ross Robinson invaded the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) over the weekend for the rain-plagued General Tire Dirt Track World Championship presented by Automotive Racing Products.

With the originally scheduled two-day show condensed by persistent rain throughout the weekend, Robinson was challenging for a transfer spot in his heat race on Sunday when he was struck across the helmet by a dirt clod. He visited the infield care center but was able to leave the facility with minor injuries.
