Midwest swing continues for Robinson with 34 Raceway's Slocum 50

Attempting to avoid Mother Nature’s path, Ross Robinson traveled to 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) on Thursday to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) for the 16th annual Slocum 50.

After sneaking into the $15,555-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat, Ross was sidelined by a parts failure on lap 20 of the 50-lapper.

Both Friday’s event at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) and Saturday’s CMH Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) fell to inclement weather.
