Satterlee continues 2020 dominance at Port Royal

For the fourth time in less than a month and for the sixth time in 2020, Gregg Satterlee parked his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Keyser Manufacturing/ Valvoline/ Classic Ink/ Rocket Chassis in Victory Lane.

His latest conquest came on Saturday night at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway. The win also marked Satterlee’s fourth win of the season at the half-mile speed plant.

“We’ve had a lot of success at Port Royal this year and Saturday was no exception,” Satterlee said. “I’m proud of our team. I also want to thank all of the supporters who make this program possible. I’m really excited with the momentum that we have going right now.”

After losing Friday night’s plans at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) to Mother Nature, Gregg Satterlee headed to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday. In a stout field of 43 cars, Satterlee secured his spot into the A-Main with an 8-lap heat race victory.

Starting the feature in ninth, Gregg blasted into a podium spot early and began closing on Trevor Feathers and Roy Deese as they battled for the lead. With a caution realigning the field near the midway point, Satterlee snuck past Deese on the bottom to secure the lead.

He went on to dominate the remaining distance of the 25-lapper to capture his sixth win of the season and a guaranteed starting spot in the Frank Sagi Memorial race at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway on August 16th. Finishing ahead of Deese, Jeff Rine, Donald Lingo, and Kyle Lee, Gregg pocketed a $2,544 payday for the win along with a $300 bonus for starting in ninth.
