Gregg Satterlee rallies to 12th-place finish with World of Outlaws at Marion Center
Invading the Buckeye State to kick off a four-race swing with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series, Gregg Satterlee was 42 Super Late Models entered at Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) on Thursday for the $10,000-to-win opener.
After losing ground in his heat to finish seventh, Satterlee was able to move forward in his B-Main but missed a transfer spot by one car with a fourth-place finish.
With Friday’s stop at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) rained out, Gregg raced his way into the $15,000-to-win Connor Bobik Memorial on Saturday at Marion Center Raceway (Marion Center, Pa.) with a consolation victory. Despite getting caught in an opening lap tangle that sentenced him to the tail, Satterlee climbed nine positions in the remainder of the 50-lapper to finish 12th.
Satterlee’s weekend drew to an early close on Sunday at Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.) with a pair of eighth-place finishes in his heat race and consolation event.
