Winger Invited to Dirt Late Model Stream at Eldora Speedway

With the 26th annual Dirt Late Model Dream getting postponed to 2021, Ashton Winger was one of 48 Late Models invited to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational. Locking the Top 4 finishers from the heats into the preliminary feature, Winger followed up the 22nd fastest time overall in qualifying with a seventh place finish in his heat. On Friday afternoon, Winger edged his way into the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 13th, Ashton dropped three positions in the 30-lap affair to register a 16th place finish.

Sitting 29th overall in preliminary points on Saturday afternoon, Winger rolled off eighth in his heat race for a shot at the $50,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Ashton logged a ninth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Locking the Top 3 into the finale, Winger fell short with a 10th place outing.
