Ashton Winger Follows World of Outlaws to Hawkeye State

On Friday night Ashton Winger followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the doubleheader at the facility that features a quarter-mile oval inside of the half-mile oval. Drawing 38 cars, Winger came in seventh in his heat before placing fifth in his B-Main. The following night on the half-mile, Ashton laid down the sixth fastest time in his group before picking up an 8-lap heat race victory. Earning the second-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Winger brought out a caution on lap 22 while running in seventh. Dropping outside the Top-10 in the remaining distance, Ashton Winger logged an 18th place outing.

Ashton remains in ninth in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
